HOW IT WORKS
Before your class
There’s a different theme each week. You can view the vocabulary for that specific week and suggested phrases to practice before class.
During your class
You’ll practice with students at the same level as you. Instructors lead and help when needed. Sessions are over 80% in Spanish. 1 hour in person. 45min on Zoom
After your class
Optional self-study. Review content in Levels 1-5. Re-study verb tense conjugations from lower levels if needed. Download cheatsheets to reinforce sentence structure.

THE CLUB IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:
- you are ready to practice the spoken word with structure and a teacher to help with corrections.
- you are currently in our Level 3, or have basic knowledge of past tense conjugations (A2-B1).
- you can express basic ideas but need practice forming full thoughts.
- you study on your own but need a place to practice.
- you want to practice with students at the same level as you (or very close to your level).

EXTERNAL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME!
Most of our students join the Conversation Club around Level 3 (A2-B1). If you are taking a class at our school, you can still join. You must have knowledge of how past tense in Spanish works. It doesn’t have to be perfect. The idea with the Club is that we’ll help you perfect it each week as you participate. Just bring your Spanish as it is. When you activate your Membership you get instant access to all of our courses, and you can review Level 3 or lower levels before joining for the first time in case you’d like to review a little bit first. You can book occasional private sessions with one of us, if needed.
HOW TO JOIN AND WHAT TO EXPECT EACH CLASS
1. Activate your Membership and access the assigned topic.
Get the vocabulary by email or find it in your student’s dashboard. You’ll find the list of every week’s topic months in advance. You’ll also find a calendar with every available session to save your spot.
2. Choose your location and attend class in person or on Zoom.
You can bring a notebook to take notes of interesting phrases or common words that often come up in the conversation. You can write a paragraph or something you’d like to say, related to the week’s topic. You don’t have to do that but we’ve seen how students come to class and have something to say to the group. It really helps. We’ll help too.
3. Use right away what you learn and reinforce.
Try to practice new words or phrases you learn with your Spanish speaking friends or at the store or neighbors, etc. Your Membership gives you access to all Levels 1-5 and you can review sentence structure, vocabulary or download cheat sheets.

Yes. The Club is ideal for A2–B1 learners: you understand basic Spanish and can express simple ideas, but need guided practice to speak more confidently.
No. The Club is pure conversation: guided questions, real-life topics, soft correction, and pronunciation feedback.
In-person sessions last 1 hour. The Zoom Conversation Class lasts 45 minutes and is included with your Membership.
Everyday Baja life: cafés, restaurants, neighbors, errands, travel, weekly stories, seasonal events, and real situations you actually face here.
No problem. In-person sessions are pay-per-class ($200 MXN) and you come whenever you can.
The Zoom Conversation Class runs every week so you always have at least one way to practice.
You need an active Toani Membership (for vocabulary, materials, level guidance, and access to Zoom).
Then simply reserve your spot for Cabo, San José or Zoom.
