Classes with a teacher
Group classes usually meet twice a week for one hour. Sometimes we may take a little longer than three months if the group needs more practice, or finish a little sooner depending on how the group class goes.

Course content
This level is for students who already feel comfortable talking about present and past events, but hesitate when sentences become longer or include words such as lo, la, le or se.
Throughout this level, you will learn:
- How to identify what words such as me, te, lo, la, le and se refer to and where to place them in a sentence.
- How to use direct and indirect object pronouns to talk about people and things without repeating the same names or nouns.
- How to combine the preterite and imperfect to explain what happened and what was happening at the time.
- How to describe the places, circumstances and feelings that provide context for a story.
- How to add the details people need to follow a longer and more complete story.
- How to pronounce object pronouns as they connect with other words in complete sentences.
What happens after Level 4?
Level 5 brings everything together. You review the structures from previous levels while adding future, conditional, present perfect, past perfect, commands and present subjunctive.
By the end of Level 5, you’ll have worked with the main verb tenses used in everyday Spanish and understand how they relate to one another inside real conversations.
Level 5 is already included with your Toani Membership, so you can continue whenever you’re ready.
